Built like a tank September 3, 2010 Crimech (Miami, Florida) These are my third pair of rayban glasses of the same model. The first one , a door felt on my head and has a small crack and my doctor told me not to wear them because they can brake in any moment. I bought those in 2003 , the crack happened in 2007. After a year using those with the crack, I bought my second pair, which they resisted falls from top of my head , tables , motorcycle until I lost them. I went back to the one with the crack, with the same destiny falling down from me all the times and they don't break. Now I got the third , because Rayban deserves my money and how good or extremely good these glasses are, the colors on all of them are great , if you try other glasses , is just not good enough. Now I'm trying the polarized brown too see how good is with colors. Of course they also look good, that's a matter of taste. Buy it.
Look good and see better with less eye fatigue August 3, 2010 Barrister Hey wait!!! First off, I'm a guy and they look good on me! Interestingly, female reviewers report the same.... Hmmmm.....
Anyway, these shades are functional because they are Polarized and eliminate reflected glare, and are dark enough to reduce just the right amount of transmitted light.
Also the amber colour does not distort colors.
Oh, and I'm told they look good on me. A classic, they will never go out of style.
Important safety notes:
1. Some people may need to see that reflected light. A speeding driver looking out for a State Patrol officer needs to see the glint off the bumper, windshield or wheel. (Not me of course, but drivers who speed.)
2. The displays on auto interiors (radio, etc.) are really difficult to see with the Polarized lens.
I'd buy these shades again. The two remarks above are minor.

Prompt & Excelled Customer Service July 14, 2010 Cyrielle Jean (new york, ny) I received this item within 3/4 business days of placing my order. I had to return the glasses because they were a size bigger than I had expected and Dennis called me to discuss my return and he is very knowledgeable about CLE products and ordered me the correct size at no extra cost and followed up with me to give me shipping details.
Ray Ban cockpits- the new Aviator! June 24, 2010 Scattered&Fried (Baton Rouge, LA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Getting tired of the oversized plastic glam frames, I was looking for a lighter more chic look for summer. Found these updated aviator style Ray bans I rocked all through college and I am loving them once again! Ihave gotten so many compliments and they seem to be so much more cooler than the heavy big Jackie-o styles in this summer heat. I have really short hair and they still look very feminine and cute on my face. I would definitely recommend.
I should've looked closer, but I'm happy enough anyhow June 24, 2010 J. Burnett After my last Ray-Bans (RB3309) got stolen, I was crushed to learn they had been discontinued. While shopping for new shades I learned my old ones were polarized (they had brown plastic earpieces instead of clear ones), so that kind of became a baseline for me. But it clearly was not a selling point when I bought them. I totally missed the the clear plastic earpieces on the RB3362's imaged on Amazon. The RB3362's being sold are non-polarized lenses. I don't know how much that matters-a lot of websites talk about how good polarized shades are for fisherman and sportsmen, etc. and cut down on glare, but I just wear Ray-Bans because they look good on me. The fish-spotting and high-performance aspect of polarized lenses will be wasted on me, all Ray-Bans have 100% UV protection, and I guess I just don't know if glare protection is worth $80 or so. As far as getting what I paid for: Absolutely. I received new shades, pleather case, cleaning cloth & papers. The shape is less of an oval than traditional aviators. I think they look pretty good.
